About Susan Hernandez
What makes me different as a Real Estate Professional?
Yes, I sell millions of dollars of Real Estate every year. But, so does 20% of the over 60,000 Realtors state-wide.. This means only 12,000 Realtors in the state of Arizona make a living selling the biggest investment of most people's lives.
SO, what makes me different from them?
I have dedicated years to volunteering at the local, state and national level of Real Estate. In order to say you are a Realtor, you pay dues to associations at the local, state and national level AND agree to a Code of Ethics. But, there is no requirement that makes a Realtor volunteer. The Realtors that give up time away from their families to advocate for everybody’s homeowners rights AND have a successful career helping clients through the process of buying/selling are the Realtors that truly have a passion for Real Estate.
And that, brings us down to fewer than 500 agents state-wide.
Here is a list of things I do for YOU:
Appointed by NAR to be a Federal Political Coordinator(FPC) for NAR. My Member of Congress is Rep. Greg Stanton. I meet with him several times a year, including at Capitol Hill in D.C. and talk about housing issues that we want him to support that will protect YOU.
Issues include: Flood insurance program which was set to expire, infrastructure and transportation needs, opportunity zones, Water issues, HOA issues and more…
I’ve Spoken at Town hall meetings in Mesa, Tempe, Chandler and Gilbert to assist our local council members in what we need for housing and to support propositions that would protect homeowners.
A Major investor for Realtors of Arizona Political Action Committee. (RAPAC) This money goes towards fighting Propositions or bills that would affect YOU negatively. Effectively saving you thousands of dollars as a homeowner.
Board of Director for both local and state levels. WESERV & AAR
Chaired several committees at WESERV and have sat on even more committees at both the local and state levels. WESERV & AAR My favorite being Government Affairs and Political & Legislative Committee...and grievance!
Like many Realtors, I continue to get higher education and obtain certifications as well as my Brokers license.
GRI, SRES, MRP, Broker
All of this added up to my peers nominating me for REALTOR OF THE YEAR in 2019! I am honored to be associated with less than 1% of Realtors state-wide.
